The new Kenworth Medium Duty Body Builders Manual offers extensive information on 2008 model Kenworth T300 medium-duty trucks and tractors equipped with the new 2007 Paccar PX-6 and PX-8 engines, the company says. The 100-page manual features a section on dimensions, which includes data on turning radius, frame layout and components. Other sections provide information on body mounting, frame modifications, electrical, routing, and safety and compliance.
The 2007 Kenworth Medium Duty Body Builders Manual will especially assist body builders with installing bodies and associated equipment on Kenworth T300 Class 6 and 7 vehicles, says Jeff Sass, marketing planning and research director for the Kirkland, Wash.-based truck maker. The manual provides key product information to body builders, which will help them to fit their bodies and may reduce the cost of the installation for Kenworth customers.
The Kenworth Medium Duty Van Body Program offers customers one-stop shopping at participating Kenworth dealerships in the United States and Canada. Customers purchasing Kenworths T300 Class 6 and Class 7 models have a choice of dry van bodies in five lengths and options from three manufacturers: Supreme, Morgan and Commercial Babcock. The Kenworth program offers 18-, 20-, 22-, 24- and 26-foot dry van bodies. Customers benefit from expedited delivery with standard bodies from one of 16 installation locations.
The manual is available as a .pdf file for electronic download and printing under the Kenworth T300 in the Products Section at www.kenworth.com.
